This spoon was made in 1982 for the 12th Commonwealth games which were held in Brisbane, Australia. On one side, it has written "Commonwealth Games 1982", and is outlined by small illustrations of each sport included in the Commonwealth games. This side will the be the outside of the ring, visible when being worn. On the other side (which will be the inside of the ring) it says '"Brisbane".
