About Jordan's Jewellery Designs
Every piece of jewellery tells a story, and mine began with a simple gift from my sister and a chance encounter with an unexpected mentor. I'm Jordan, a Brisbane-based artisan who transforms vintage silverware into unique, handcrafted rings that breathe new life into forgotten treasures.
My journey into jewellery making wasn't planned—it emerged from a combination of curiosity, creativity, and a passion for sustainable design. While studying psychology in Brisbane, after moving from the picturesque Marcus Beach on the Sunshine Coast, I discovered an unexpected art form through an elder friend, Lorenzo, who introduced me to the world of spoon rings.
As an avid op shopper, I was constantly struck by the intricate designs adorning vintage silverware. Each spoon seemed to carry its own history, with delicate patterns and elegant craftsmanship that begged to be reimagined. What started as a personal collection quickly transformed into a creative pursuit. I gathered tools, learned techniques, and began carefully crafting rings that would preserve the unique character of each piece of silverware.
What began as a hobby soon grew into something more. After creating rings for myself and friends, and continuously refining my craft, I started selling my creations at local markets. The response was overwhelmingly positive—people were drawn to the uniqueness of each ring, the sustainability of the process, and the personal touch that goes into every piece.
Now, I'm bringing my handmade rings online, inviting you to explore a collection that celebrates craftsmanship, sustainability, and individual stories. Each ring is more than just an accessory; it's a piece of history transformed, a testament to creativity, and a unique expression of personal style.
