What are the rings made out of?
The rings are made from stainless steel cutlery, meaning that they are extremely durable, will not turn your fingers green and will not rust. Fear not beach lovers, they are able to come in the ocean with you.
How long does each ring take to make?
I have gotten more efficient making them over time, the first few could take up to an hour to make, but now it’s around 20 minutes each)
How do I figure my ring size?
- Wrap string or dental floss around your finger so that it is snug, but loose enough to pass over the knuckle.
- Mark the string with a pen where the end piece of the string overlaps itself.
- Unwind the string and measure the distance between the mark of the pen and the end of the string.
- Use a size chart to convert that measurement into your equivalent size
How do I maintain my ring after purchasing?
These rings require minimal maintenance. For everyday wear, no special care is needed. After a year of use, a light polish with stainless steel cleaner can restore the original shine if desired.
Where are the spoons sourced from?
I find the majority of the cutlery from antique stores and op shops, but also sometimes from flea markets, garage sales, and I might even raid the kitchen of my friends houses.
Which markets can I find you at?
You are able to visit my market stall in person where you can choose your spoon and have a ring custom made to your size. You can find me at West End markets on Saturdays, or Milton markets on Sundays. Although if there is a vintage market on any given weekend then I’ll be there. I post where I’ll be before each weekend on my Instagram
